RECYCLING USED AMMO - Shot Gun Checkers
This is a fun weekend project. Use some of your old shot gun shells you have lying around to make the checker pieces and 2 pieces of wood to make the board. If you don’t have any just lying around then have an afternoon of fun with some target practice. There are a lot of ways to make this project unique; make a design on the wood with a wood burning kit or carve it out. Use a single wood slice or turn an old table into something new by making the top into the checkers board.
Safety note - It is important to make sure any ammunition used in a project like this has already been fired and is no longer capable of being fired. Always be safe and wear personal protective.
